I love Air Maxes...and the fact that Nike ID has more options for designing your own pair. Last pair I designed off the site was in 2006...time for some more!

Friggin' Adorable

Ok...I am a girl. So I do like some of the corny aspects of love...like matching outfits when going to Great America. Sike. Thats so '92. More like complementing either others styles. This pic of Kamber and their matching Jordan 3s has been floating around the internet. And I can't help but to dig it. I dug it so much, that an offer came up for me to get a pair of the highly anticipated Space Jam Jordans. May have to consider it.

Not only did Friday April 3rd produce a dope party(shout out to 80s Babies), but that date also came with a pretty dope shoe. The 1st colorway of the Air Yeezy hit the market...and I must say...there was pandemonium. A few of the sneaker boutiques in Chicago had release parties that night, involving auctions, lines outsides....and yes, glow in the dark chicks. My fav was St. Alfred. They outdid themselves with glow in the dark painted go go girls, a black light lit store, and other treats. What a creative way to go! My guy scored him a pair through Leaders, and said it was worth the money. Now if only we can find a way to get our hands on the black Yeezy's...hmmm, stay tuned.

A must have!!!

These Nike Windrunners are a classic. I have always adored the men ones...but now we have them for the ladies!!! I def needs to grab one up for the spring. Dope.

I will be copping these joints...probably in beige though. These Nike Dunk Skinnys are part of the Cherry Pack, which includes a Dunk Lo. Look out for 'em ladies at your nearest sneaker boutique...a great addition to the spring wardrobe.

I have laid off of buying sneakers based on some of the wackest designs lately. Until...I spotted these in my Kicks-Hi email. And by the way, on a side note. If you are in the Go, you must visit St. Alfreds, the guys there are very helpful and nice when shopping for sneakers. Back to your regular scheduled blogging program. Okay so these joints are dope, and sort of remind you of the Princess Reeboks...but we don't do Reeboks. I must get me a pair. Check ' em out!

Even though I love my bright colors...such as pink, the scorpio calls me to be mysterious & dark. Anything with a rough edge suits me well. Thats why these Nike Heavy Metal Terminators caught my attention. Now continue to rock out the rest of the week babes.

The Quest for Love

My pseudo boo has been bugging me about these joints. They were supposed to be released last week, but ha! They fooled us. Expect them this Saturday at exclusive boutiques. Only a few cities are getting like 36 pairs! Yeah, so they are sold out as we talk, lol! I received this pic from the infamous Kicks-Hi. I think its dope that they are giving Quest a shoe. He so deserve it, check out my previous post about meeting him.

Sneaker head vs. Shoe lover

About two or three years ago, the sneaker trend began to spread. With the emergence of sneaker boutiques, new designs & styles from companies like Nike, Adidas, and Reebok, it got crazy. People everywhere jumped on board to get the freshest and dopest kicks around. The downside to this of course, was the spotlight being taken off the original sneaker heads, who had been collecting for years. Being from the Chi, you would run and get a pair of Jordans every first of the month…now this for me was around the early to mid nineties. Also, there was Fila, New Balance, and other brands. And of course, everyone rocked every shade of Air Force 1. All of this was way before the sneaker boom. Now its hard to tell the real sneaker heads from the fake. I had a talk with a close friend of mine, who is a true shoe collector. He stated that if you had not been collecting shoes before 2006, then you aren’t a sneaker head, you just love shoes. He is a avid Jordan & Nike fan, he collects everything involved around those two, either being shoes , cards, or magazines. He also claims that a real sneaker head is knowledgeable about a certain shoe that is his or her favorite. Pretty much, you don’t buy everything you see, just so you can have every shoe number wise. Being financially well off doesn’t make it better either, unless the passion is there. Because its not about the number, its about that special shoe. Now we are not saying you aren’t real, because you just started collecting shoes. We only want you to be honest with yourself and others. Don’t engage in deep conversations on shoes, or show pics, like your shoes are cats, when there isn’t really anything special about them. They need to tell a story, other than you just buying them. Are you doing it for the love, or because you were a lame in high school? You figure it out.

Just Do It!

When I went inside Urban last week, I noticed these dope Nike hats laying on the shoe table. To my surprise, these joints flip up with the bib reading "Just Do It". So Fresh Prince....yessir!

So Sneaky...

As always...I wanted to shed some spotlight on a couple of new shoe joints that are out for the ladies. I love a masculine looking shoe...that includes colorways and design, so these picks were a lil boyish, but with a feminine touch depending on how you rock them. Enjoy!

People that rock Nikes have always had their favorite shoe. Some people are Jordan fans, you might have some that only do Air Force Ones, or you might see a hipster rock the occasional Dunk. I, myself, have always been into the running shoe. No I do not run, and have never ran track. I might look like it, but I just like the style and comfort of the shoe. Very sporty, and sleek. You feel like you can take off from a rapist in an alley. So I am shedding a little light on my recent release picks. Enjoy.

Nike releases a Valentine Day pack every year....for you lames who didn't know. This shit right here.....this shit right here.... is a hot shoe. The Court Force Hi is my favorite shoe out of this pack, I can see some skinny stone wash denim rocked with it. The Dunk has the cutest detailing inside it, which I totally adore. Get your boo to pick up this shoe for you(that rhymes), this Valentine ladies.
