My fav season is arriving soon...but don't fret, you can still lay up on the beach, or frolic in some water. I will be randomly spotlighting some fall trends in shoes, clothes, beauty, and whatever else. Gotta keep you ahead of your BB Curve.

The military shoe trend has not ended, and now stores are offering various styles to fit your taste. These are from Bakers.

Cute on a Budget

I thought these were so adorable and sexy. The metal gold bottom is kinda hard. And they are afforable, from our fav brand, Micheal Antonio.

H by Halston

Attention all my budgetnistas, Bakers now carry H by Halston. For those not familiar with the Halston brand...its a vintage brand now that was very hot in the 70s & 80s. Carrie from SATC is rocking their ish in the new movie. Hot right? Now you can find their shoe and accessory collection at your local Bakers. Pumps are priced right under $100...and they have that classic look. Think about the pumps your mom rocked back in the 80s. Exactly. Dopeness. Go grab a pair...cause I am!




P.S Wear these styled shoes with a classic cut mini dress, or a pair of tight skinny jeans. ; )

Going Nude

Nude is the new black pump. You can practically wear it with anything. Every girl should own a pair. Here is a style that I think is cute for the spring. You can find them at Akira.

I am looking for a dope all black sandal that I can dress up or down. Found these by Blowfish...a fav brand of mine...kinda dope, right?

Doodle Pad

I am a certified doodler. I can make a little piece of paper look like a masterpiece. I can fuck up a desk, or bathroom stall. With that being said, I appreciate anything containing graffiti or scribbling. I thought these Vans were adorable. Makes me wanna grab a pen and pad.

Spiked Punch

I would wanna kick somebody in the nuts with these. Louboutin spiked oxfords. $995. Ouch Indeed.

One bad boot

I had been eyeing this shoe at Akira for a couple of months now. You can see why. Is this bitch hard core or what?! Sam Edelman, 6 inch heel, 1 1/2 inch platform, made of calfskin and suede...wow!!! Now this boot is $341...but if you want a more affordable shoe thats similar, Bakers have a boot thats 5 inches, with a 1 inch platform, for $59(last pic). Love it!

Let it snow!

Ladies, ladies, ladies. Don't ever let the winter make you think that you have to dress like a big ass snowman. You can still be dope but warm. Here are a few pics of my fav snowboots out right now that will keep you looking fab for the weather.




These come up further on the leg and gives you the snow bunny look. Northface defintely keeps you warm too.



Although these snow boots run in kid sizes...if you have a small foot, a 6 or 7 will do for someone that wears a 8 or 9 in womens. The detachable flannel insole warms the toesies...and you can't go wrong with a lil RL.



I think that these boots by Lacoste are fun and adorable! They add color to all the blacks and greys we see in the winter.




If you are like me and like the way your boyfriend/pseudo boo dress...or hell, any man, then these ultra warm Northface boots will do. They add height, and will look good with a flannel.


**All of the shoes I mention are under $125, and will last you through a few winters. Grab some soon before the snow starts sticking!

Rock on...

I am not the biggest Chuck fan. I own three pair, and I rarely wear them. But I love dope shit...so that always overrule. This month Converse will be releasing the Metallica All-Star Chucks. There will be a series of four. My favs are the all black with the blue Metallica logo, posted below. With the way things are going fashion wise for Fall '09, these wil be good to have in the shoe collection.

Rockabilly style

I have tried to avoid liking this style of shoe...every since my girl rocked a pair of vintage tap shoes at the beach last year. Lmao! I was too through. But, I visited the Steve Madden website...and gosh darnit...fell in love with a male oxford styled pair. On top of that, it came in a couple of my favorite colorways. So yes, I will be copping a pair this fall to rock with my bowties, cardigans, and whatever else I can pull together to complete the look. Straight up Janelle Monae.

And the cherry goes pop!!!

I will be copping these joints...probably in beige though. These Nike Dunk Skinnys are part of the Cherry Pack, which includes a Dunk Lo. Look out for 'em ladies at your nearest sneaker boutique...a great addition to the spring wardrobe.
