I remember when my homeboy hipped me to Zanes first novel, Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth, I immediately fell in love. I was intrigued by the freakiest tales ever told from a female point of view...an african american female on top of that! When I was 12, I used to read the romance novels that had very intimate sex details, pleasing myself physically and mentally. But Zanes book offered more...they offer sexual liberation for all women. It helped me to know that there is nothing wrong with being sexual. All her books included characters that were well off, whether it be education, career, financially or whatever, and loved to get down on top of it all. Fast forward to now, and Zane has brought her novel to life with Sex Chronicles on Cinemax. I freaking love this show! Its so conversational...and the best soft porn since Red Shoe Diaries, and that wasn't good. The characters are sexy and realistic. I can't wait for the new season. For all u late birds, the reruns are playing every Friday late night on Cinemax. Enjoy.
