Pink Cookies
This look on A. Rose was the light at the end of the tunnel...especially since we all are involved in the fashion blackout this season...dopeness.

90s and beyond
My So-Called Life was before its time. Gay teens, pregnancy, teenage sex, depression...this show had it all. Fuck a Degrassi High. The fashion was so different incorporating grunge and more in each episode. Fast foward to today...and its still current. I have been slowly transitioning into the whole look for the fall/winter...with layers, mix matching patterns and colors. And will continue through the spring with updated versions of the baby doll dress and florals. This look is for all the bohemian/rock star girls at heart.

Tied up
I am really fascinated with bondage artwork. I think its beautiful. Especially in black and white. Its also fashionable, especially this season. Shoes, bags, jackets...all with buckles, belts, spikes, and zipper detailing. I guess its just the Scorpio in me that clings to all things sexy.

Cold Blooded
Just because the warm temps aren't here anymore, doesn't necessarily mean fashion has to end. Looking good and staying dope in cold weather isn't hard. And yes you can step outside the typical sweater/boot combo. I found a few picks that I am intrigued by on the Arden B. site. These are great partying pieces, that can be worn over and changed up with other things in your closet.
These are satin jeans. Shiny without being cheesy. Good for a holiday party, or the club. Definitely tone it down with a basic top. Hopefully its cotton, or a sheer material.
This latex catsuit reminds me of Amber Rose or Rihanna. They would so rock it. I think its hot, and definitely risky. Pair with a hot boot or sandal, and you are leaving with a Blackberry full of numbers. You can also tone it down with a rocker studded flat boot, and long cardigan.
I love this floral skirt. Be brave and a rebel, with a Dr. Marten, or a military boot. A cropped cardigan and band tee underneath would go perfectly with this look.
Last but not least, I know we are tired of the lame inspired pieces. But now the material has changed, and its sexy latex. This gold skirt is so forward, yet Studio 54ish to me. I can picture the top being a plain white tank, or shoulder padded cream blouse. It screams New Years Eve or Saturday night out on the town.

Wednesday Nights in the 'Go
NBC Chicago happened to be out and about last Wednesday...you can catch me dancing my life away toward the end of this video at jbar. Enjoy.
Out and about in the 'Go
I tend to go out more in the fall/winter months. Maybe cause I was born in November. The city tends to have dope fashion inspired events through these months too. So I posted a few pics of me at a couple of events. Enjoy me being vain for the moment.
