This blazer is soooo straight from the 80s. Major shoulder pads...but nevertheless dope. I can see someone rocking some dope frames with this. Diva status.


Sequins is def not dead yet. You will be seeing lots of sequin pieces in the stores this season. Might have to grab me this joint. Hot! Very superstar.

Spotted!

I was out doing some shopping for a client at the time of this pic last week. I was also sooooooooo sick. Lol! A young well dressed lady comes up to me and asks for my pic. She then asks me a few questions and says I've been spotted. This young lady happens to run a website called Chicago Streetstyle. Its sorta like the Satorialist but for Chicago style. How dope is that?!

I have always had girlfriends who were a lil more curvier than me. It was a time when I only rolled with "big girls". Everyone is equal to me...I see no shape or size...unless you dress it wrong, then there is a problem. The only downside to hanging with women is the self-esteem issues, especially with plus size sistas. I can only say so much to make you feel comfortable...but it starts with self. Thanks to more options, there are stores that cater to a multitude of sizes, such as Torrid, Great Glam, Forever 21, and more! Be fearless and bold! You can wear and do what you want! Experiment with different styles til you get it right! As long as its tasteful and hot!

The pieces above are transitional...and can carry you from the end of August into October. Its always hard to go from summer to fall...without looking so frantic.

Just got an email from a boutique called Strut in Forest Park, Illinois. These leggings stood out to me for some reason. I guess I am a sucker for graffiti print and see through ish. Pure dopeness. I can see these worn with a neon top or neon pink platform patent leather/suede pump.

Dress me up

I love doing dresses for any of my events...and its a must that they fit and look perfect. I loved this dress...but I actually more so loved my shoes and accessories.

Cut it out

You may have noticed or seen when I blogged about the cut out look in fashion recently. This look can be slutty or classy/sexy...depending on how you rock it. I love how these two ladies rocked the cut out look. I can see myself wearing both pieces. Dopeness.

I am all about a woman wearing a dress the CORRECT way. Girlies often think once you put on a dress, it works for you...but no honey *snaps*...you must work *french accent* THE DRESS!!!
